MV EAGLE OTOME
After a collision in Houston with two vessels, the Houston based American Eagle Tankers Ltd vessel (Aframax size) was
repaired by MEC in Panama. The 57 Tons of Steel Renewal Project was done in a record time of 15 days, outbidding other shipyards’
proposals, such as Curacao Dry Dock, Gran Bahamas, TNG and having the most cost effective proposal.
MV NAGOYA BAY
This Greek based, Roswell Navigation reefer vessel (15,000 GRT) was repaired by MEC in Panama. All repairs were carried out
under DNV Class Approval with customer and class satisfaction.
MV CROWLEY AMBASSAOR
This Miami based, Interorient Ship Management Ltd car carrier (27, 000 GRT) was repaired in Panama, with renewal of 450 tons
of steel in 90 days, setting a new record in country volume of steel renewed on a single vessel. The new technology, cost effective
SPS was applied on this vessel.
MV EASTWIND OSLO
This Greek and New York based Eastwind Navigation Company container vessel (55,000 GRT) was pre docked repaired, a complete Wet
Dock Project being completed in record time. This was the last of the fleet vessels from Eastwind, before the company was sold.
